Today's post is going to be a brief but necessary one. If you are really sick and tired of being sick and tired. Make today the day you start to do something about it. Don't wait til Sunday, or Monday or til whatever excuse you are giving yourself. JUST DO IT. Forget that you don't know everything. You may not even now what method is going to be right for you. Be it Weight Watchers, Atkins, NutriSystem, Jenny Craig or clean eating, OMG I can't name them all. There are sooooo many to choose from and the information may seem overwhelming. Maybe you like counting points or ordering prepackaged food or eating limitless bacon or what have you. Whatever will work for you. This journey of healthy living and losing weight as a side effect is a very personal one.
Some parts of this journey are constant amongst all of the weight loss programs. Make a couple of adjustments TODAY until you find the one that is right for you...
*soda- pop-soft drinks- diet soft drinks..(whatever you want to call it)...need to be eliminated
*portion size is a factor- eat out of smaller plates. eat less
*don't skip breakfast
*drink at least 64 oz of water per day
*monitor your salt intake
These are basic things that you can do to get started right away. JUST DO IT.
I've tried them all. Pick the one that you will stick to and have the most fun doing.
